Our Non-Diet Approach
We believe that wellness is a personal journey, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The ability to make sustainable changes comes from a place of compassion for our body as well as our choices. Practicing mindful and intuitive eating provides us with a baseline for improving our relationship with food and body while maintaining nourishment. As Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, our individualized, evidence-based approach helps clients make meaningful and realistic behavioral changes on their well-being journey. We pride ourselves on providing medical nutrition therapy in a weight-inclusive environment that makes our clients feel comfortable and supported through their entire journey.

What to Expect in a Nutrition Session
Your health, well-being, and happiness are our top priorities. Our counseling sessions focus on working together to develop strategies for change that are both achievable and comfortable for you. We will look at diagnostic lab values and medications. If desired, we will also work with your care team and report progress to ensure that you’re getting the thoughtfulness you deserve.
There is no standard client, so there is no standard session! All sessions are individualized to your unique needs and intentions.
“A wonderful resource in the Gorham area. I have referred several of my physical therapy patients to them.”

Intuitive eating is a non-diet approach to nutrition and wellness that focuses on mindfulness, listening to the body, and creating a healthy relationship with food. Unlike traditional "diets" and "weight loss plans", the focus of intuitive eating is NOT on the scale or calorie intake. Success is instead measured by increased energy, improved mood, and becoming more in tune with the body.

Not typically. CV Wellbeing does not create meal plans unless circumstances require such structure. Rather than rigid plans, we emphasize balance, variety, and satisfaction to foster sustainable eating habits.
