Supporting clients in person in our Gorham office and virtually in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, & Vermont.
Hi, I’m Kris (she/her), a dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) who has worked with clients of all age groups in various settings for over thirty years. I believe compassion, empathy, and encouragement are the greatest markers of care, and I am passionate about helping clients improve their quality of life while managing health concerns and understanding how the body works.
My education includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Framingham State University, where I also completed my Dietetic Internship. I have been certified as a Health Coach and Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and I am a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, credentialed by the CBDCE. I am also a member of the American Association of Diabetes Education, American Diabetes Association, Massachusetts Dietetic Association, Southeastern Massachusetts Dietetic Association, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. I am also listed on Kate Scarlata’s IBS and FODMAP specialized registry. My counseling is centered around behavioral change, relationship with food, mindful and intuitive eating, Health at Every Size (HAES), and medical nutrition therapy.
